Grammar
Suitable as a first high school grammar course or a final grammar course, this is a comprehensive review of the major topics. Along with the Composition course, this course prepares the student for more effective writing and communication, skills vital to success after high school. The course also builds the student's vocabulary by using the first half of Vocabulary for the College Bound Student (the second half of the book is used in the Composition course). Standard grammatical principles are presented and shown via diagramming and sentence dissection. Emphasis is placed on evaluating parts of speech, revising faulty sentences, standard grammar rules, and applying and expanding vocabulary.
